Matthew Robinson

Lancashire Mind Trainer

I am a former Police Officer having had a career spanning 30 years with the Lancashire Constabulary. Prior to joining Lancashire Mind I worked for 10 years at the Lancashire Police Leadership and Personal Development centre providing training delivery which included aspects of Mental Health and Autism awareness.

I have significant practical experience of providing individual and team supervision and management within a number of roles and disciplines. I am also passionate about the wellbeing and personal resilience of others and promoting self-care within the workplace.

As a former Emergency Service worker, I have first-hand experience of how mental health impacts upon people’s lives within the work environment and within the wider population.  I am extremely proud of my current role within Lancashire Mind which is providing me with the opportunity to promote mental wellbeing and remove stigma.

Matthew holds a level 4 Certificate in Teaching and Learning in the Lifelong Learning Sector (CTLLS) and is a qualified Mental Health First Aider.
