Aimed at managers and supervisors, this half day training session is CPD registered and provides a greater understanding of common mental health conditions in the workplace and what signs to look for in staff and colleagues. This may be a starting point to encourage senior level buy-in or to ensure your organisation is offering a consistent approach to supporting mental health at work. Following on from this session, learners will receive electronic versions of Mind's Wellness Action Plans, which consider all styles of work, as part of our good practice approach to supporting mental health in the workplace as discussed within the live session.
This course is taught virtually, on the Webex Training platform. It is instructor led and requires regular interaction from learners. You will need access to the internet, a webcam, a speaker or headphones, and a microphone to fully participate. Webcams must be kept on at all times.
While Lancashire Mind are not IT professionals, there is extra time built in at the start of the training session to resolve joining difficulties. A Supporter will also be available throughout the training session to assist learners with accessing the course and to monitor their wellbeing.
