Description
The workshop is fully funded (meaning delivered at no charge) and aimed at supporting parents or carers of children who struggle with their mental health. Specific challenges linked to mental health and neurodiversity / neurodivergence (dyspraxia, autism, ADHD, dyslexia etc.) are also included in the session.
Workshops are conducted over two and a half hours. They allow a safe, respectful, and supportive space where experiences can be shared, and opportunities are enabled to learn from others. The session covers different approaches for supporting a young person when they may be experiencing poor mental health or difficulties. It provides tips and techniques on supporting family wellbeing when your young person is struggling. It also offers tips to improve communication and resilience for both you and your young person.
